We\u2019ve rounded up a few top barbecue recipes for you to try out this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smokey Chilli BBQ Pork<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4090\" src=\"https:\/\/hicactus.com\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Smokey-Chilli-BBQ-Pork_recipeimage-300x129.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"172\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Smokey-Chilli-BBQ-Pork_recipeimage-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Smokey-Chilli-BBQ-Pork_recipeimage.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup Wattie&#8217;s Smoked Hickory Flavoured BBQ Sauce<br \/>\n1\/4 cup apple cider vinegar<br \/>\n1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh red chillies or 1 tsp dried<br \/>\n2 Tbsp brown sugar<br \/>\n2 cloves of garlic, crushed<br \/>\n1 kg pork slices or pork spare ribs<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. To make the marinade mix together Wattie\u2019s Smoked Hickory Flavoured BBQ Sauce, apple cider vinegar, chillies, brown sugar and garlic.<\/p>\n<p>2. Place the pork into a tray and pour over the marinade, ensuring the meat is well coated. Cover and refrigerate. Marinate for 1-2 hours, or overnight if wished.<\/p>\n<p>3. Heat a lidded barbecue to 200\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>4. Remove the pork from the marinade and set the marinade aside. Place the pork on a rack in a tray or on a lined hotplate. Close the lid. Reduce the temperature to medium\u2013low. Use the remaining marinade to glaze the pork every 10 minutes, turning the meat when this is done.<\/p>\n<p>Cook time will depend on the thickness of the meat. Pork slices will take longer than spare ribs. To test if the meat is cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part of the meat. When the juices run clear the pork is cooked. Alternatively use a meat thermometer. When cooked, the pork will have an internal temperature of 75\u00b0C. Stand for 10 minutes before serving.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peri Peri Chicken Burgers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4089\" src=\"https:\/\/hicactus.com\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Peri-Peri-Chicken-Burgers_recipeimage-300x129.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"405\" height=\"174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Peri-Peri-Chicken-Burgers_recipeimage-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Peri-Peri-Chicken-Burgers_recipeimage-768x329.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Peri-Peri-Chicken-Burgers_recipeimage.jpg 930w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 405px) 100vw, 405px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n1 tsp finely grated ginger<br \/>\n1 clove garlic, crushed<br \/>\n1 red chilli, finely chopped<br \/>\n2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp Gregg&#8217;s Lemon Pepper Seasoning<br \/>\n400g skinless chicken breast fillets (2 \u00d7 200g pieces)<br \/>\n4 burger buns, cut in half and toasted<br \/>\n\u00bd cup HEINZ [SERIOUSLY] GOOD\u2122 Peri Peri Mayonnaise<br \/>\n1 red onion, sliced into thin rings<br \/>\n1 Lebanese cucumber, peeled into ribbons*<br \/>\n1 cup fresh coriander leaves<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Combine the olive oil, ginger, garlic, chilli, parsley and Gregg\u2019s Lemon Pepper Seasoning in a small bowl.<\/p>\n<p>2. Slice the chicken breast fillets in half horizontally to form 2 thin fillets. Place the chicken fillets into a shallow dish. Rub the herb and spice mix into the chicken. Cover and refrigerate the chicken for 30 minutes to marinate.<\/p>\n<p>3. Cook on a preheated BBQ over medium heat, for 10\u201312 minutes, turning once during cooking, or until the chicken is cooked. Alternatively cook in a dash of oil in a frying pan.<\/p>\n<p>4. Spread each burger bun base with HEINZ [SERIOUSLY] GOOD\u2122 Peri Peri Mayonnaise. Top with a chicken fillet, red onion, cucumber and coriander. Top with the bun lid and serve.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Honey Soy Chicken Nibble Marinade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4088\" src=\"https:\/\/hicactus.com\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Honey-Soy-Chicken-Nibble-Marinade_recipeimage-300x129.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"398\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Honey-Soy-Chicken-Nibble-Marinade_recipeimage-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hicactus.com\/ch\/files\/2020\/12\/Honey-Soy-Chicken-Nibble-Marinade_recipeimage.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 398px) 100vw, 398px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n500-750g chicken nibbles<br \/>\n125g pouch Wattie&#8217;s Wok Creations Honey Soy Stir-Fry Sauce<br \/>\n1 tsp finely chopped ginger<br \/>\n1 tsp crushed garlic<br \/>\n1 tsp chilli paste or fresh chilli finely chopped<br \/>\n1 Tbsp oil<br \/>\nSesame seeds (serving suggestion)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Whisk together the entire pouch of Wattie\u2019s Wok Creations Honey Soy Stir Fry Sauce with the ginger, garlic, chilli paste and oil.<\/p>\n<p>2. Pour the marinade over the chicken nibbles and leave in the fridge overnight or for 1-2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>3. Once marinated, place the nibbles on the BBQ or in the oven until the chicken is cooked through.<\/p>\n<p>4. Cook the potatoes in boiling, lightly salted water for 15\u201320 minutes or until tender. Drain. Set aside until the potatoes are cold. Cut potatoes in half if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>2. Fry the bacon pieces in a pan over medium heat until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and allow to cool.<\/p>\n<p>3. Put potatoes, bacon pieces, spring onions and parsley into a large mixing bowl.
