You should be marking your tools with your licence plate number or other number that\u2019s relevant to you. This also deters thieves as it decreases the resell value and increases the risk of being caught.<\/p>\n

Lock up<\/strong><\/p>\n

This may seem like an obvious one, but investing in some good, secure locks will make thieves think twice as it will take too much time to get to your tools. Technology is pretty advanced nowadays and you can even get an alarm system that alerts your phone when someone is trying to break in.<\/p>\n

Get insured<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can do all you can to prevent your tools from being nicked, but ultimately, having your tools insured is the most important thing you can do. It can be a massive inconvenience getting your tools stolen so getting insured means you can get back to work as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n
